What is "Bretagne"?
‘Bretagne’ is a region on the west coast of France – in English it is referred to as ‘Brittany’.
The first ‘e‘ here sounds like the ‘e’ in ‘the‘;
The ‘a’ sounds like the ‘a’ in ‘father’;
The ‘gn‘ has the ‘ny’ sound in ‘canyon’. ‘LasaGNa is a good reference for both French and in Italian. This is not a sound which comes naturally to an English speaker when it’s at the end of a word – simply sounding the ‘n’ will suffice if you have a problem with it;
