| What is "eau de parfum"? | ‘Eau de parfum’ is a word used in English as well. Translated directly from French, it means ‘water of perfume’. ‘Eau de parfum’ generally means that a fragrance contains about 7-15% perfume concentrate, compared to perfume which contains 15-40%. ‘Eau de parfum’ is stronger than ‘eau de toilette’ which only contains between 1-6% of perfume concentrate. EDP or EDT? what kind of difference between edp and edt
EDP is ‘Eau de Parfum’ and EDT is ‘Eau de Toilette’ – the EDP is the concentrated on, and the EDT has more alcohol, so produces a lighter fragrance which does not last as long. Thanks for pointing those out – I should have mentioned how they are shortened in the entry.
