What is "lasagna, lasagne"?
‘Lasagna’ is a dish made with sheets of pasta, layered with meat, or vegetables and a sauce, and baked in the oven. It usually contains a ‘white sauce’ or ‘béchamel’ which is called ‘besciamella‘ in Italian.
Lasagna is the singular, more than one lasagna is ‘lasagne’ in Italian.
