‘G.H Mumm’ is a Champagne House located in Reims. It was officially formed in 1827, but the company goes back as far as 1761 when the Mumm family launched a business as wine producers and merchants in Cologne, Germany.

George Hermann Mumm’s motto was “Only the best”, so put it to work when you pronounce the name of this champagne. Do not say Mumm like ‘mum’ – this is not a sound we have exactly in English, but you can be more correct rather than less correct by listening carefully to the audio.
