A Quick Overview Of Pasty
A pasty (the noun), as opposed to ‘pasty’ (the adjective, in the sense of 'pasty-faced') is a meat and vegetable pie – the pastry is traditionally crimped. These two words are pronounced differently. A Cornish Pasty is a semi-circular pastry with crimping along the circular part. It is made with beef and potato, and is considered THE dish of Cornwall.
