What is "pot-au-feu"?
‘Pot-au-feu’ *(m) is a French dish consisting of boiled beef and vegetables – the water used for boiling absorbs the flavours of the meat and vegetables, and turns into a tasty stock. The stock of a ‘pot-au-feu’ is referred to as ‘bouillon‘.
