How do you say "Sangiovese" in Italian?

‘Sangiovese’ is an Italian red wine,  and variety of grape typical of the regions of Tuscany and Romagna. Sangiovese is the most widely planted red wine grape in Italy – it is the grape responsible for Brunello and Chianti.

When you pronounce ‘Sangiovese’, remember that it is a a four syllable word – look at the phonetic spelling, and listen to the audio. This is a mistake English speakers tend to make quite often – they say the ‘i’ as a syllable, when in fact it is silent.
