‘Semifreddo’ *(m) means ‘half-frozen’. A ‘semifreddo’ a type of ice-cream which made with an egg mousse base which can be varied with numerous flavours, such as honey, lemon, chocolate, etc, and frozen. It is served slightly softer than regular ice-cream, hence the name.
