Surely it’s ‘va- blohnk’, with a very mild ‘nk’?
No Aisha. There is no nk, however mild. The ‘n’ is nasalized, and the ‘c’ is silent. Please listen to the sound file, spoken by a French First Language speaker, and check the phonetics in a French dictionary. Rhyming blanc with plonk is an utter pronunciation fail.
